A black rather than white box museum approach was adopted because of the range and flexibility required to accommodate the exhibits and needs of a Preview Museum of Science Fiction. This design is intended to give visitors an early look into a future museum. The museum is modular and highly portable to allow for easy relocation to other cities. The structural framework of this project also allows for multiple configurations within exhibition spaces and due to the prefabricated kit of parts.
