I'm a recent graduate looking to relocate to Detroit.

My city’s and family’s history has had a profound impact on who I am as a person and a designer.  Miami has grown tremendously even within my own lifetime.  I have seen the population increase 40% in just 20 years, witnessed a renaissance of arts and culture, and have seen the ethnic diversity blossom.  Unfortunately, I have also seen careless development destroy communities.  As an architect I would like to be a community builder.  

Finally, being from a Cuban immigrant family who arrived with only their education, my formal education as well as autodidactic education are invaluable to me.
