Chih-Yi, Kuo received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Chung
Yung Christian University in Taiwan. After few years full time working
to accumulated practical experience in architecture firm. Currently, he
started the M.arch II program at the Southern California Institute of
Architecture (SCI-Arc).
After graduating, he took up a position with Liren Hsiao and Associates
in Taipei,Taiwan, where he worked as an architecture designer involved in
all aspects of the design process, from initial schematics to budgeting,
gaining valuable experience. Those projects he worked on saw involved in
landscape planning for public facilities, working to integrate architecture
and the environment.
Architecture, to him, is a tool for bringing together people and their
environments, as well as being a valuable entry point for trying to
understand other cultures.
By cultivating his architectural knowledge and pursuing practical
experience through the SCI-Arc’s program, he will be better equipped to
create such spaces
