Raised by a family of real estate developers in the New York City area, I’ve been immersed in construction from an early age. This paired with close to 10 years of work experience and 7 years of formal architectural education has allowed my design approach to seamlessly fuse creativity and a profound understanding of construction intricacies.
I see each project as a new opportunity to work with the client to discover a truly unique building, at a consistent level of excellence. When getting caught in the fine details of a project, I often take a step back to look at the project from an overall perspective, considering how it is achieving it’s cultural, social, and environmental goals. This is what I instill into the younger staff members of my teams, making sure they are first understanding the question before trying to answer it.
While my experience ranges from hospitals in Central Africa, to a restaurant in the Museum of Natural History, I have found myself most drawn toward my residential projects. To be able to see the joy on a family’s face after showing them where they’ll be able to create new memories for years to come is a level of fulfillment that brings me to work with a smile every day.

As a project architect at BST, I’ve refined my experience in every design phase for multiple jobs happening simultaneously. This required maximum efficiency while providing more design freedom. I gained perhaps the most stimulating development in managing the junior members to meet deadlines.

I first came to BST during my post sophomore year summer break and was invited back to do so for the next 4 years. During that time, I developed my understanding of each building phase and the DOB approval process. Projects I worked on ranged from apartment buildings in Manhattan to a hospital in Burundi, Africa.

This firm specializing in residential historic preservation in Westchester served as the perfect ground work for understanding buildings of old, and how to bring out their hidden character. My tasks involved preparing historic research presentations for town boards, shadowing all site visits, and office meetings.

Evolved my architectural passion through Pratt Institute’s experimental design tools and philosophies. A course that I found most exciting was a design philosophy course in thermodynamics, exploring how natural structures can lend insight into maximum design efficiency. This led me to designing an adaptive-reuse urban farm in my studio course that would go on to win awards and publications. 3.8 GPA

Completed the nationally ranked institutes “Making + Meaning Program” where I explored the cutting edge of model making technologies and how they can provoke a new architectural language. This was paired with my refinement with more basic drafting software for a well balanced, summer studio.
