Charles Pigott was trained as an architect both at the Portsmouth School of Architecture and the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, receiving his AA Diploma in June 1992. Professionally he has worked in Chicago and London for the office of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, being involved in the building of international office and residential schemes. In the 90’s, Berlin became his second home, for architectural experimentation and freelance work, that has now established his own working practice in the discipline of architecture. Today at ACME Charles is our document controller for the Minories Project in Aldgate, where a new Canopy by Hilton hotel will occupy the refurbished and extended old Aon Insurance offices; the Pavilion at the Stratford International Quarter development; the new development and masterplan at Folkestone Harbour; the Swansea Central development incorporating a major events venue, Swansea Arena, and REWE Green Building - Market for the Future, in Germany.
