My story is about the convergence of entrepreneurship and architecture. I am a designer at heart, I can’t stand unthoughtful moves and interactions, but that is only half of my story. I am also filled to the brim with entrepreneurial spirit; I’ve consulted with startups, I’ve created companies, I start bands, I innovate. When I am on projects, I can’t help but touch every piece. I don’t see boundaries, if it needs to be done and it's not being done, it’s in my court. I’ve helped grow an office, I’ve spent weeks-on-end on-site collaborating with contractors and builders, I’ve led client relationships, I’ve driven programming and planning efforts with complex user groups, I can document, I am a team player.
The only thing things I ask from a firm is do they value design, are they wonderful people to work with, and are they ok with questioning ‘the way things have always been done’?
