I'm applying for an Architectural Designer position.

I graduated in 2013 from the Polytechnic University in San Juan, Puerto Rico where received a Bachelor of Architecture. In 2014, I worked as a Drafter for Caparra Construction Corp developing Record Drawings for the ambitious project The Mall of San Juan where I had the opportunity to be closely involved with the construction process.

At the end of 2014, I moved to Austin, Texas seeking career advancement in a whole new enriching setting. While working with DRS Architects and Planners, I had the chance to contribute to the development and administration of Construction Documents and Tenant Improvement Sets for the interior design of AT&T retail stores. I also assisted with the remodeling of office spaces and performed out-of-state site inspections.

Energized, inspired and set on continuing expanding life and work experience at a high pace, I decided to move to California. Here in Los Angeles, on June 2016, I started working with Conner and Perry Architects as Project Architect. As part of this small team, I had the opportunity to contribute to the development of a large-scale high-end addition to the Sheats-Goldstein Residence for entertainment, work and dwelling use. Furthermore, I completed the pre-design phase of an ADU project and had supporting roles on the remodel of a house in Venice, and the construction of a new house in Malibu.

After this I worked for Menemsha Solutions where I developed Construction Drawings for a ground-up restaurant building. Additionally, I worked on tenant improvements for a grocery store and designed façade alternatives for another grocery store chain. After 5 months, I was promoted to Job Captain II.

In August of 2018 I moved back to Puerto Rico and started working for my father’s business inspecting repossessed residential properties for bank entities. Meanwhile, I have been working towards my licensure and so far I only have two more exams to go.

Wanting to get back on track with my career in architecture, at the end of 2019 I moved back to Los Angeles.

I'm ready to take on the next challenge, and help deliver great, design-focused projects for both corporate and residential clientele.

I have a lot of passion and a positive attitude which enables me to thrive under pressure. I'm confident that if hired, I will be a valuable member of your team.
