About 

Curtis was born in South Florida and has spent his lifetime in the state. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an Emphasis in Structures. Curtis has worked in construction since he was a teenager and in 2013 received his General Contractor's license in Florida.

He is a licensed PE in the state of Florida and serves as the chairman and founder of the local Structural Engineering Institute as well as serving on the City of Sarasota's Board of Rules and Appeals.  As Managing Principal at Snell Engineering Consultants, Curtis is responsible for all staffing at the company's Sarasota office as well as his design responsibilities.

I, along with 9 of my colleagues, were selected for this esteemed honor and I am grateful to SEI TPC and the SEI Futures Fund for their generous scholarship.
