Responsibilities included oversight / direction of specific residential and commercial projects within the design department and the factory. in addition to developing new products for the company, including my own designs as well as production of designs commissioned for Dune from international architects and designers.

Accomplishments:

 * Project Architect for “Flavaboom” frozen yogurt flagship store; finalist for Best of the Year 2011 at Interior design magazine.

 * Designer of two pieces of furniture which were accepted into the Dune 2010 collection and displayed at the 2010 International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF)

Copan Asociation, Copan Ruinas, Honduras, Project Architect

I was hired by Copan Association to be the main liaison between the Honduran Institute of Tourism, the Honduran Institute of Anthropology and History and the World Bank for all interventions within the architectural component of the Regional Development of the Copan Valley Project. My responsibilities included architectural design of projects ranging in size from 200 – 50,000 square feet, supervision of construction and restoration of buildings, writing terms of reference, technical specs and contracts.

Accomplishments:

Successfully designed and supervised the restoration of the Cabanas Fort (National historic Landmark) in Copan Ruinas. And the incorporation of “Casa Kinich” children’s museum.

Defined architectural guidelines for the management of the 5 most important archeological sites in Honduras.

 Defined conceptual design and supervised the final design and construction of the Regional Center of Archaeological Investigations at Copan.

Designed a Mayan Village based on archaeological data, and two interactive laboratories for the interpretation of the archaeological site "El Puente" in Honduras.

Successfully supervised the reconstruction of the “Mayan Museum of Sculpture” at Copan.

Schools for the Children of the World, Tegucigalpa, HN, Architectural Consultant

I was responsible for training Honduran soldiers to conduct architectural surveys and physical evaluations of existing schools in several remote areas of Honduras.
The area I surveyed included approximately 25% of the land mass of Honduras though is one of the most remote and least populated areas.

Accomplishments:

 Successfully completed architectural surveys & evaluation of 412 schools in, Honduras.

 I reduced the costs of the surveys to 1/4th of the original budget by streamlining the logistics of the
transportation

 Survived treacherous remote conditions in jungle terrain with minimal resources

Private architectural firm designing residential and commercial projects throughout Central America.
As co-founder and partner of the firm, my responsibilities included architectural design of all projects (SD, DD, CD) between 800 – 42,000 square feet, directing construction as well as writing technical specs and contracts. In addition,I was responsible for interfacing with clients throughout project design and construction.

Accomplishments:

 Designed and oversaw construction of seven private residential projects and six commercial projects
throughout Central America

 I was responsible for the growth of my company from, initially, 2 employees to 7 architects/draftsman and 30 construction workers at the peak of our success
