The Miami Center for Architecture and Design kindly allowed us -The Women in Architecture Committee of the AIA, Miami Chapter- to transform their beautiful space into an art gallery at the beginning of this year. 

The idea, presented and led by Cristina Crespo, was to create a catered silent art auction benefiting female art students from the Design and Architecture Senior High (DASH) of Miami. The call of entries was extended to the art + design community of Miami-Dade but specifically focused on elevating the role of women within this field. 

The outcome was a beautiful, lively and well-orchestrated event where female artists and designers -at all levels- were able to showcase their work and network with like-minded people. The event was well attended and documented and the auction portion a huge success.
