I am a junior architect based in Berlin. Up to now I have been living in seven different countries (Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Germany, France, Brazil, USA and Switzerland) and travelling in several countries around the globe before. As a result of my experiences I am able to adapt very quickly to new environments and I am always interested in discovering new cultures. I acquired various experiences in architecture offices in Berlin, Bad Bentheim, New York City and recently Basel as a student architect, a freelancer and an architectural assistant while working on various projects ranging from urban planning to building design.
I am always interested in the relationship between built environment and the humans living there. My design approach always takes into account creativity, functionality, marketability and sustainability. My priorities in any kind of design task I had to deal with were to take into account the needs of future users and all the characteristics of the site. This is the reason why I always take a look at global and local problems during the design process in order to develop adequate design solutions for cities or regions. In the future, I want to focus on the development of new design ideas that are dealing with social issues and cultural diversity worldwide and that require creativity and sustainability. I am convinced that a “face to face” communication and experience in various countries in the field of architecture will always be essential for me in order to learn how to find solutions for these kind of design issues.
