In 2015, Carolina receives a M.Arch from UAL - Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, under the coordination of architects Manuel and Francisco Aires Mateus, with the thesis “Inhabit the Landscape Walking: Traveler and Fisherman : Retreat on the Island of Berlenga“.
The taste for architecture and art in general led to the realization of a Temporary artistic installation in the Guadiana River, in Mértola, and also the participation in the Competition Two Houses in the Wild Islands, in Madeira.
Due to several trips made, while still in college, the photographic record was born as a natural way of apprehending the landscape, space and architecture. With the gathering of photographs taken in each place, the first voyager journal began to appear, where the architectural record gained prominence. When realizing that her photographic work had a certain coherence as much in the color, as in the framing and detail, she decided to create a website. In the field of photography, names such as, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Sebastião Salgado, Hélène Binet, Annie Leibovitz and Leonardo Finotti, inspire and impel the search for her essence as a photographer.
Since 2016 she has had the opportunity to work with more than 14 architecture offices, and has photographed a total of 50 projects so far. In 2017 worked as an architect in Almeida Fernandes Arquitectura, for two years. In 2019, she began working as a freelancer in architecture and photography.
