About

Studying for an architecture degree allowed me to develop my passion for design and the technical skills required to work in architectural practices. By working on several architectural projects, I have learned how to creatively problem solve innovatively, which I illustrated in my sketches, models technical drawings and render visuals. These skills and the experience I have gained make me excited to be part of this industry.

My background consists of daily coordination with co/workers and subcontractors to ensure the project’s needs are met. I’ve been involved in the overall project strategy for single-family homes and commercial projects developing schematic designs, preparing drawing sets, and relating building design concepts to building codes.

As an Architectural designer, I have a solid and strong foundation in the complexities of designing and architecture. In my last job, I performed the following duties and tasks:

  • Strong Knowledge of the design process.
  • Outstanding conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideas.
  •  Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Preparing permit drawings for local government review and acceptance.
  • Assisting lead architect and construction managers in projects.
  •  Monitoring layouts and recommending improvements.
  • Conducting site surveys.
  • Developing floor plans, building sections, and 3D models.
