My name is Carlos Hernandez a dynamic and ambitious interior architect, recently earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in the CIDA accredited Interior Architecture program at Columbia College Chicago. Eager to learn more, I am looking for an entry-level position that will allow my passion and creativity to thrive. I would like to grow with a company and continue my education in this field because I was born to design.
Interior architecture is more than furniture arrangements and decorating, it is problem solving. My attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills ensure that every project I work on is done accurately and to the highest possible standard. My personal approach to design embraces the entire design process; research, programming, schematics, development, construction documents and presentation. My skills include great communication, collaborative work and sketching and creative space planning solutions. I also have excellent computer skills in Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp, Microsoft office and willingness to learn new software systems if required.
