Carlo D'Alberti is an award-winning architect with professional experience across Europe and the USA. He holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture, obtained with honors from the Polytechnic School of Palermo (IT). During his career, he actively participated in design competitions, achieving multiple first prizes and notable mentions. Some of these include the 1st Prize in the Leisure Harbor competition held in Marina di Loano, Italy, organized by YAC (Young Architect Competition) in 2021, as well as the 1st Prize in the El Parque De la Musica competition in Seville, Spain, organized by Startfortalents in 2018. Additionally, he was awarded the prize for Best Thesis in Architectural Restoration, the "Antonella Cangelosi" prize in Palermo, Italy, by the "Università degli Studi di Palermo" (UNIPA) in the 2021 edition. In 2021 he won a schoolarship for YAC Academy’s “Architecture for Heritage” course in Bologna (IT), focusing on urban regeneration and intervention on existing buildings, expanding his expertise in the field. Currently based in New York City, he works with WAU - Watchorn Architecture & Urbanism, leveraging his expertise in construction documentation and project management skills.
