For system' s housing project, we proposed an elevated massing above historical site. The idea of “cloud” was trying to create a life in the sky, a soft, porous and mysterious cloud above the public plaza at the ground. The facade was also designed on the idea of cloud, which made by three layers of opaque polycarbonate panels to blur the massing boundary, bring the ambiguity of the scale and dematerialization of the envelope.
