Stephanie Chaltiel graduated from France in 2005. During her studies in Grenoble, Madrid and Mexico, she was highly involved in the renewal of tropical habitat, highlighting all its potential for future generations. In Response to Awala-Yalimapo Mayor request to improve the local housing she co-founded the cassaV office. "Our strategy was to stress the very traditional until turning it into a very contemporary design that brings now a days comfort". cassaV had the help of the CRATerre unesco Laboratory all along the project development.
Stephanie then used her experience in hot climate for Bernard Tschumi Architects in New York for a project in the Dominican Republic. This work has been exhibited at the 10th Venice Biennale: Elliptic City, Swiss Pavilion.
After working for OMA (Office For Metropolitan Architecture) on Monaco extension on the sea competition, and Manuelle Gautrand on the Defense Tower AVA, she graduated from the AA Emergent Technologies and Design Master in London.
Using cutting edge techniques she then worked on the construction of “Les Pierres Vives” Project in Montpellier for Zaha Hadid Architects in London in 2010.
