We are so excited to share progress on our commercial restoration project at Bartell Pritchard Square at the southwest corner of Prospect Park West. This site, next door to the new Nighthawk Cinema, was occupied in the 1920’s by an ice cream parlor. Working with owner Hidrock Properties, we are restoring and reconstruction this charming curved 4,000 sq.ft. building overlooking the park.

Ice cream is coming back too, with progress on one of the two tenants for the building, Brooklyn’s Ample Hills Creamery. The project will restore the decorative ironspot brick and bluestone pilasters, wood storefront, and sheet metal cornice. Deep canvas awnings, prominent in historic images, are also being restored.  A new roof terrace with a spectacular view of the park will be available to Ample Hills customers.

Ice cream should be available in the early spring of this year. Can’t wait!
