Brisac Gonzalez has been shortlisted for a competition to design a new major library, Le Grand Équipement Documentaire (GED) in the outskirts of Paris. 

The 23 000 m2 building with a construction budget of 53 million Euros will house a new type of research library combining large open spaces accessible 24 hours a day seven days a week. The GED will bring together 40 libraries from the nine different institutions. The library will have a forum space, cafeteria and exhibition space equipped with the latest digital technologies.
