I went to the University of Virginia for undergraduate school where I got my Bacholer's of Science in Architecture. I graduated in 1993. Afterwards, I moved to Atlanta, GA where I worked at Stanley Love-Stanley P.C. before attending the Georgia Institute of Technology for graduate school where I got my Master's of Architecture degree. I graduated in 1998. I eventually landed at Niles Bolton Associates where I started of as an Intern Architect (2000) and worked my way up to Project Architect (2008).

Oversaw the architectural aspects of the development of the design, production of the
construction documents and specifications. Coordinated the needs of clients, my project
manager, technical staff and outside consultants such as structural engineers, mechanical
engineers, electrical engineers, plumbing engineers, civil engineers, interior designers and
landscape architects. Assisted in client relations, zoning and building code management,
material specifications and maintaining quality control by checking and making revisions to
shop drawings. Facilitated answering RFIs and various construction administration duties
such as making monthly field visits and writing field observation reports. Worked in
coordination with Project Managers to ensure alacrity of deadlines and job quality.

Assisted in the development of T-up sheets, after programming and preliminary design,
in order to best satisfy the client’s program and budget. Assisted in the mechanics of
presentation drawings and models. Prepared detailed development drawings from
schematic design documents. Participated in in-house design review based off of the
approval meetings with clients. Organized and assembled construction documents.
Visited job sites and participated in the observation of the work in place, and prepared
field reports of such routine inspections. Worked in coordination with Project Architects
and Project Managers to ensure alacrity of deadlines and job quality.
