Thesis project aimed to create a community space to bring together downtown residents and students and fulfill an unmet need in the area by bringing in local amenities. I designed a movie theater in the Near West Side neighborhood of Syracuse, NY to serve this purpose and help to revitalize the area. My design is playful and colorful to bring new and fresh energy into the area and act as a third place for residents and visitors to escape to.
