Recognizing the outdated aesthetic of her residence, our discerning client made the strategic decision to embark on a comprehensive renovation project, aligning her home with the contemporary standards of today’s design trends. The areas targeted for revitalization included a deliberate expansion of the kitchen by 5m2, as well as the transformation of the L-shaped veranda at both entrances—leading seamlessly to the lounge and the patio adjoining the master bedroom. In response to the client’s recent acquisition of a modular kitchen set, meticulous attention was given to harmonizing the new design with the existing furniture. While the initial vision included an island with a nook, spatial constraints necessitated a thoughtful adjustment. Consequently, our design team opted for a seating banquette strategically positioned in one of the corners of the kitchen, ensuring both elegance and functionality within the confined space. This deliberate choice represents a seamless fusion of the client’s preferences with spatial considerations, resulting in a refined and cohesive contemporary aesthetic.
