The Vanderbilt Institute for Surgery and Engineering (VISE) celebrated its opening on Dec. 12 with an open house followed by a variety of technology and equipment demonstrations.
Designed by Blair + Mui Dowd Architects, the 7,000-square-foot suite with a mock operating room, large work space and developmental labs is expected to expand collaborations among engineering professors, physicians and students in engineering and medicine.
