About

The duty of an interior designer is most simplified by the unity between two main driving forces. One involves the safety, functionality, and ergonomics for the users while the other retains the idea of creativity, art, and inspiration for the spaces to hold. It is these two aspects that designers have to constantly maintain in a balancing act while throwing various other variables, such as sustainability, into the mix. This ultimately creates a situation that can spur feelings of stress and exhilaration simultaneously and bring forth a wave of endless possibilities; all of which are rooted to the desire to produce the greatest designs possible.

Employment

WORKSpaces LLC, Phoenix AZ, Design Assistant and Library Manager

Worked as a student Intern; was tasked with managing the material library, which included the 3"x3" sample walls, memo samples, vendor binders, and various other materials within the office. Also organized the files and office when requested.
As a Design assistant, I would work with the designers on the various tasks they needed, such as specifications for the selected materials as well as finding products/samples that coordinated with their concepts and ideas per the specific product.
