    Trust in the Truss

    By juvasquez

After many days of squaring, leveling, and welding, the trusses are complete on both the bridge and the ramp!

We've now moved on to welding the guardrail posts to the I-beams, and fabricating the wood guardrails.

We've been using our new dado blade for the table saw to route out notches for the steel supports, LED lights, and a drip edge in each piece of wood being used in the guardrail. It creates a LOT of sawdust, but also creates a beautiful end product. This 100-year old reclaimed white oak is gorgeous, once you plane it and trim it a bit!
