As being very behind on blogging, I have plenty of emerging trends and ideas I want to share. Ill be brief on this one...

School project at Cal Poly, exploring prefabrication residential units in a skyscraper. The skyscraper was massed and scripted initially in grasshopper and then taken into studio max for final output. The internal programmatic components explore agriculture, aquaculture, and the sustained symbiotically relationship between the two. The tower had theory of explorations such as, fish farming in a skyscraper environment to how vegetation could create a filtration system for the aquaculture. Tectonic explorations were, that which explored the prefabrication methods. As well, how digital fabrication could help optimize design for economical and sustainable purposes. Case in point, using grasshopper with geco to create a permeable skin that reacts to the sun. All in all, being young in the profession and in school allows for the "what if" thoughts to be explored . I will follow with more in depth blogging in the future.

About this Blog

I come across very interesting studies and experiments in general context, that can be applied to architecture and design in creative ways. From Autodesk research and development Articles, innovative technology to control Arduino, to my opinions and analysis on the influence of Tadao Ando's architecture in Mexico. My objective is to push the boundaries of research and development borrowing from professional field's in and outside of architecture, as well as sharing current research and work.
