Accessible BART Station Maps

This project was created for the LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired in San Francisco, CA, documenting the 44 existing BART Stations in 2014. Each station features an audio-tactile map of each of the following: Street, Concourse, and Platform.

The Project was featured in Ellen Lupton's book The Senses: Design Beyond Vision, which accompanied an exhibit of the same name in the Cooper-Hewitt Museum in New York.

In 2016, the project won the Doris W. Kahn Accessible Transportation Award, for improving transportation access for people with disabilities.
