Collaborating with Peter Himmelstein Architect, Emillie Baltz and the Museum of Sex on the design and fabrication of this topographic sign, I was responsible for managing the design process, modeling the sign topography and generating the fabrication files used to cut each of the fins. Each 1/8” plywood fin was CNC cut, painted and notched into a frame before being recessed flush with the adjacent marble finish. The finished sign was installed in the Play Cafe, adjacent to the Museum of Sex’s 5th Avenue location in New York City.
