Bin Zhang is exploring creatively in how formal and material gestures of architecture can respond to the context and the world with critical and theoretical thinking. He is interested in working on various scales and likes to achieve the project's success in a theoretical way, as well as in a practical one. 

Zhang is a new graduate of the University of Michigan, from which he obtained his Master of Architecture degree. Prior to this, he studied architecture in Xi'an, China for five years.
