About

I believe everyone is entitled to surroundings that enhance their lives. Design can inspire, alter your mood, create a sense of calm. We are markedly influenced by our environment.  A well-designed space is more than meets the eye; it is an opportunity to connect with its inhabitants in a meaningful way that is functional, pleasing, and a reflection of their personality.

Each project needs to be approached as a story. How does this family live? Do they love to entertain crowds or are intimate gatherings more their style? I see my job as taking a client's life and ideas and translating or transforming them into reality. As a designer, this means tirelessly researching products, furnishings,  designs and ideas and combining them in freshly tailored ways.

I crave designs that offer an element of surprise, are unconventional and playful. The loft included in my portfolio reflects my Mid-Century-Modern-meets-Verner-Panton aesthetic. The challenge was to take a large, 3,100 square foot space and introduce elements to make the space approachable whilst maintaining its industrial loft roots. I incorporated curved walls and cabinetry, warm, distressed wood flooring and bold colors to achieve an environment that is both inviting and stimulating.
