Museum of Foreign Art

A Museum for Foreign Art
Florence, Italy

The project required a museum program and use of Piazza Torquato Tasso to create a museum for foreign art, art workshops and community functions including a library. The design sought to create an interior/exterior condition by creating an articulated wall through the piazza to form a courtyard and place to stage functions in the piazza. The wall and building were designed with a changeable facade on 'exterior surfaces' and green walls on 'interior surfaces'.

This project was completed white studying abroad in the spring of 2012.
