Background.
Designed in collaboration with Duncan Architecture (architect of record). This backyard addition seeks to minimize interventions to the existing house and instead create a stark backyard addition to contrast with the existing low brick home. The new addition parascopes up and over to bring soft northern light into the lofted second floor bedroom.
