After High School I spend four years in the US Navy as an Operations Specialist (Air Traffic Control), which was an experience I will never forget. I was stationed on the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) an Air Craft Carrier (I never would have imagined a 10 story building could float but it did.)
I earned my first two degrees, an AS in Architecture and an AA in Education, from El Camino Community College in Torrance, then I graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a BFA in Interior Architectural Design and now I am a graduate with an MBA / MSL degree from Grand Canyon University.
I spent most of my 12 year career working for developers and architects, working several project types from Sprouts Grocery Stores to 400 unit senior housing complexes, 5-story low rise office buildings to CVS Pharmacies, a hand full of fire stations here in AZ and Town home complexes. In 2005 I decide to open a 5 person design and development company of my own. I am currently testing for the ARE and becoming a licensed Architect.
