I have been working on developing better ways to measure and deliver accurate existing building surveys for the past 6 years.  Base Built Service and its associaties have worked hard to deliver a quality product that ultimately saves on construction cost change orders. 

Recently we have been conducting building surveys using a FARO scanner.  This tool has become an invaluable tool for conducting accurate and ultimately more affordable drawings.  We have used the scanner on various sized projects.  One aspect we are excited about is webshare.  This allows our team to conclude a scan within a day and deliver via a flash based website dimensions from all the various scan positions.  It is like a virtual tour with the capability to measure from the website.
