A graduate of the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines, I started working as a draftsman in various architectural offices in Manila while finishing my architecture course. I passed my Architect's Licensure Exam in 1977 while working at the Philippine Nuclear Plant Project in Bataan by Westinghouse International Projects (WIPCO) as a construction supervisor. Then, I moved on to work in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Singapore before my immigration here in US in 2001.

My experience includes space planning, master planning new developments, design from conceptualization, presentations, design development to final design working drawings. My knowledge of Interior Design help a lot coming up with great architectural designs.

As part of the Production Team, my main task is to generate architectural drawings by autoCAD for client presentations and submissions and gathering of data at the project sites with existing building that needs new additional expansion space, exterior or interior facelifts and as-built plan drawings, site monitoring and supervision as the work progresses.

As the In-House Architect / Interior Designer and head of the Design Department, my primary function is to attend to all matters concerning architectural and interior decoration works from conceptualization, presentation, design development up to the final working drawing stages of the corporate office building, branch offices and retail shops in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Philippines, Hongkong, Dubai and India; work with consultants and contractors on each project, negotiate contracts for presentation to the senior management, handle project related communications, balancing of design, schedule and budget.

Handled architectural interior design proposal presentation drawings, material survey and preparation of presentation boards for the 350-Room Meridiene DeLuxe Beach Resort Hotel in Sanabis, Manama, Bahrain project.

Designed architectural and interior design related projects from conceptualization, presentation drawings and color boards, design development to final drawing stage, site investigation, monitoring and supervision of on-going jobs, meet with clients and liaise with subcontractors any electro-mechanical, plumbing works related to the project, and create a check list prior to final hand over of projects.
Random turn-key interior decoration projects involved are palaces and villas for the Royal Family, 5-star hotels and outlets, health clubs, executive offices, showrooms, banks and commercial retail spaces.

Arabian Polyfab is a supplier, manufacturer and erectors fo industrialized building systems like Portahomes, Rapidhomes, Rastrahomes and glass fiber reinforced concrete (GRC) products used for executive and workers camps, housing developments and facilities, high end villas, schools and prayer shelters.
As a designer to the Sales Dept, I am responsible in designing proposal drawing and estimates to suit the customer's needs and help out at the Technical Department's production of construction drawings of on-going projects.

Power Contractors Inc., Makati City, Philippines, CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

PCI is the civil works subcontractor of the Philippine Nuclear Power Plant project in which Westinghouse International Projects (WIPCO) was the main contractor.
My scope of my work range from field supervision of civil works at the plant site area which includes formworks and rebar installations, concreting, coordination of civil work with electro-mechanical subcontractors, creation of field modification and non-conformance reports as the work progresses in my area of responsibiltiy at the Reactor, Auxiliary, Fuel Handling, Control, Component Cooling and Radwaste buildings.

As one of the In-House Architects commissioned by the college, I am involved in the design and implementation of a new master plan of the campus school buildings, facilities, student accommodations, guest houses and other campus developments for the state colleges' 5-year development program funded by the World Bank consisting of the Crop Research Building, Arts & Letters Building, Cooking Dormitories, Guest Houses, Primary School and Maintenance Building.
