Mumbai
This Opulent 10 bedroom apartment in the burgeoning city of Thane, has been published in Home Review magazine.
This 7300 sq.ft. apartment was originally two 5 bedroom apartments. The common wall between the two in the living rooms was demolished to combine the apartments. The huge c- shaped living and dining space was transformed into four zones; namely the entrance lobby, a formal seating, dining area and informal seating. Of the 10 bedrooms; 2 were converted into offices to be used by two of the family members, 3 bedrooms were to be used as guest bedrooms, 3 bedrooms were to be permanently occupied by the family, 1 bedroom was to be the playroom for the children and 1 bedroom was a multipurpose room. All of the areas have been very distinctly done however the overlapping areas have a placid transition. The boundaries have been created in a way that its a subtle conversation between any two spaces at the same time one is surprised at the metamorphosis.
