Brazil-born Portuguese architect has been working in the architectural industry for a period of more than 10 years altogether. His experience covers a wide range of projects worldwide of different types, scales, and stages, including Maracana Stadium for the Rio 2007 Pan American Games consortium with Arktectus, Manchester and Stansted Airports for Pascall+Watson, Margate Seaview Hotel for Perkins&Will and currently Whiteleys Redevelopment for Foster + Partners. In addition to his design and technical skills, he has gained valuable management experience through his education and professional experiences.
Member of RIBA as ‘Chartered Architect’ and registered as ‘Architect' and 'Architect and Urban Planner’ in the countries of Portugal (OA) and Brazil (CAU) respectively, in late 2002 received a ‘Buildings Technician’ professional certification from a technical school, when his work experience began. Graduated in late 2009 in ‘Architecture and Urban Planning’ after completing a 5-year bachelor’s degree from the ‘Federal University of Rio de Janeiro’, a top 5 architecture school in Latin America. Has acquired master’s degree in ‘Architecture’ equivalency from ‘Porto University’s Architecture Faculty’ after having graduated with a ‘Distinction’ in ‘MArch Architectural Design’ from the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, in September 2015, receiving the ‘B-Pro Bronze Prize’ for the ‘reEarth Project’. Besides his extensive architectural training, he has a Postgraduate Certificate in ‘International Business Administration’ from ‘Manhattan Institute of Management’, business school based in New York City.
He has been working at well-recognised architecture studios (all part of AJ100) in Central London since 2015, soon after his graduation from The Bartlett, UCL. Currently working as 'Overseas Architect' at 'Foster + Partners' and undertaking a Postgraduate Certification in Professional Practice in Architecture from RIBA North at University of Chester.

The RIBA has its own Part 3 course and qualification – the Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice in Architecture, which is administered in the RIBA North office. The course is residential and is delivered at the University of Chester.
