House designed for young professional Engineer working full time in a firm and practices part time at home after office hours to generate additional income.

House typology deals with idea of possibility of clients visiting the house for meeting. Office space is thus made accessible from side door, from main Carport area. A common corridor separates main living from office area with a sliding screen door that can be closed when privacy is needed. The common washroom is positioned in such a way that it can be used by clients as well as house users and visitors.

The house is designed to act as showcase for good design and quality finish within a limited budget.

There is a possibility for a more dynamic usage of the spaces. The carport is adjacent to the Living area. The Living/Dining areas can be extended out into the carport to allow for more space. The position of the office area creates opportunities for future use of space as Guest Bedroom.
