Join A+D Museum for a special Urban Hike exploring the Los Angeles River. This tour, in conjunction with A+D's current exhibition Drylands Design, seeks to allow hikers the opportunity to learn about Los Angeles' own water scarcity issues first hand along with LA's rich history with its river. Special guest curators from the Drylands Design exhibition will also join the hike.
When: Sunday, April 22 from 11:00AM - 1:00PM
Where: Confluence Park
*Space is limited. Tickets must be purchased and A+D Members must RSVP prior to Urban Hike tour date.

I did the LA River Urban Hike last year, and it was awesome. Mad props to our tour host Mike the Poet. Hope he's still doing it this year. I'M ALIVE IN LOS ANGELES. ;)
hm, would you really want to walk in that river in sandals?? i saw a homeless guy pissing in it once while i was showing around architecture students the area around SCI-Arc. This isn't necessarily a fresh water river, but ok! :)
I'm sure we've all stepped in worse things; Ignorance is bliss... Hopefully they'll be too distracted by the poetry to notice...
... i guess.. haha
