About 

While working towards a Masters in Architecture, and furthering my education with professional experience I have explored and strengthened my skills within the field. Fine-tuning my understanding of scale and space and leading to my expertise in model-making, hand drawing, computer rendering, code, and construction administration. I am seeking a position as a full-time junior architect to challenge my skills and continue to immerse myself in the profession of the built environment.

Lawrence Group is a multi-marketed Architecture firm directed towards 14 market groups. I worked on all phases of a project from Project Assessment to Construction Administration for projects ranging from high-end cafes, specialty retail, hospitality, and dental office. Tasks included preparing graphic presentations and concept drawings during schematic design, design charrettes to find solutions and meet client needs, and develop 3D models in Revit. As well as, produce renderings for client review, code research according to project jurisdiction requirements, and develop complete DD and CD sets. There was a heavy use of Revit, Enscape, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Photoshop, Outlook, Ajera, and Excel.

I graduated in May of 2018 with my Master’s in Architecture (NAAB accredited) at the University of South Florida; a school that emphasizes model making, an affection to craft, and design process.

I was also a graduate teaching assistant for intro to Architecture students to aid in their affinity in the profession and help improve or inspire their design skills.

Awards 

SouthEast Design Fellowship - HKS ORLANDO, Award

Thirteen people were chosen out of a couple thousand in the South East region of the United States to offer our time and talent to the OnePulse Foundation. We created a fitting memorial for the 2016 Pulse tragedy and entrusted with the responsibility to honor those who died, while challenging our society to answer the question what does Orlando Strong look like in the built environment? Heavy use of sketching/ hand drawings, Sketchup, Lumion, and Photoshop was used.
