ARCHRYSALIS is an award winning multidisciplinary architecture, interior, landscape, and planning studio found in 2009 by Christopher Webb and Amarja Chhapwale.
Archrysalis’ design approach focuses on the duality of built form and the natural environment. The studio believes in experimentation and research and is committed to innovation, function, and sustainability. Centered within this research, Archrysalis interweaves new technologies, fabrication methods, and materials to create environments which are stimulating and contemporary. Archrysalis creates forms to inspire, approaching each project, regardless of size & scale, with an understanding that architecture influences lifestyle and society.
Archrysalis is detailed orientated. Each project is uniquely designed and adapted to the characteristics of the site and the lifestyle of its user.
Archrysalis works within a disciplined framework, focusing on client satisfaction; balancing function, aesthetics, budget, and schedule.
Archrysalis provides all design services, from concept to realization, working at multiple project scales, from furniture to urban proposals. Archrysalis has worked on projects in North America, Europe and Asia and works with both private, public and corporate clients; including developers, boutique businesses, and families.
