SuperSkyscrapers competition entry.
The main goal of the project is to create sustainable architecture with flexible internal space that promotes an intense social interaction. Such idea reflects the function of the proposed building – to house an educational communities and creative companies working in the field of Innovative Technologies and design.
The structure of the building consists of 3 rigid cores which are shrouded in the helical system of the connections organized by ramps and other transitions like travelators. In the gaps between connections we designed the modular system formed from functional cells. The cells can be transformed and used as an offices, conference rooms, winter gardens, lounge zones etc. Or, it can be simply dismantled. So we get sophisticated and overflowing space devoid of accustomed division into floors. There are different ways available to move from one functional zone to another with less need to use an elevator. As a result, inhabitants have the coherent sense of the whole building space.
Internal structure of the building is enclosed in external shell which has independent diagrid construction. The shell serves as a protection against climate impacts (wind, precipitations, solar radiation); allows to use a lightweight materials for the modular system construction; and provides a possibility to transform an internal modular system keeping an integrity of the skyscraper image.
Created architecture represents openness and freedom, encourages teamwork and exchange of ideas thus stimulating technical progress.
