Andrew is a walking tour guide with Footprints of London, a retired lawyer who has developed a deep interest in the history of social housing architecture in our cities, how it has reflected changing visions of new, better ways of living in dense urban environments, from nineteenth century tenement blocks to modernist towers, and how those visions related to, and were received by, the communities for whom they were realised.
