About

Recently a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, I find that I am constantly pulled to my roots in the making of art.  I feel that design is a result of thought and feeling, a merge of art and science.  Although I use a computer as a tool, in construction documents to facilitate precision and efficiency, I still find clarity and passion through the slowness of working by hand.  I believe that, like animated film, a work of art, or other project, people can relate to architecture when it comes from the hand.  To see a  resume and portfolio, please follow the link; http://issuu.com/annagosselin

On top of traditional foundation classes such as English and speech, SCAD has a foundations program to expose every student to basic design and drawing classes. As a sophomore in fundamentals I explored basic design exercises and model making. Junior and senior year were spent further exploring concepts of residential, commercial, and public architecture that often involved landscape and/or urban design.
