I am and Architect / Designer, passionate about Adaptive Reuse as a sustainable approach to building design. I like to combine two halves to make a full. I find ways to fix or reuse old spaces. I use multiple visual methods to express my ideas. I’m like jack learning all trades, trying to be a master at some.
Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Providence, RI, US, Masters, MA. Interior Architecture
Master of Arts in Adaptive Reuse offers a specialist design education on the subject of adaptive reuse. It establishes a clear aesthetic, a theoretical and technological framework for the study of adaptive reuse that properly equips graduating students to engage in architectural practice.
The curriculum supports students in developing strategies that account for the importance of social and environmental responsibility while expanding upon the architect’s understanding of reuse as a product of both practice and theory.
The MA program begins with a seven-week summer program in Denmark taught by faculty in RISD’s Interior Architecture department and from our partner institution, Denmark Institute for Study Abroad in Copenhagen.

The Design Studio is the backbone of the course. The KRVIA aims at training the students to make sensitive interventions in complex cultural landscapes through analysis and design. This search is consistently informed through readings from sources like film, literature, or the visual arts that are introduced in history and theory.
