Responsible for formulating Specifications and maintaining Quality Assurance and Quality Check for the design- drawings and other technical documents. Manage Specifications formation and delivery–Masterformat 2004 system (CSI), QCS (Qatar).
Prepare and update regularly master draft copy of specifications to be used for general projects. Review sub consultant’s specifications, change format from NBS to CSI for European sub-consultants.
Check the drawings and other technical documents prepared by the CAD team and advise amendments as required, in terms of technical details & Materials selection.
Review & approve technical details (versus specs) in shop drawings & samples received from contractors, consult and advise designers for appropriate technical details.
Ensure Estidama related information is accurately inserted at relevant locations in specifications.
Regularly meet, coordinate with & approve manufacturers and suppliers for the projects.
