About

For several years, I have worked as a project manager for both residential and commercial projects from preliminary design through bidding and construction administration.  Being involved from the beginning of a project has proven very rewarding for me, my employer, our consultants, and the client.

The bulk of my experience is in the design and construction of custom homes and commercial or municipal projects.  I have also been involved in the creation of condominium complexes, retirement facilities, LEED Certified government projects, fire stations, and small office complexes.  In addition, I have produced 3D renderings and hand-drawn sketches for client review or marketing.  Since some of the work has included projects in Kentucky, Florida, Ohio, and New York, in addition to Michigan, I am able to navigate the requirements of different states.  Most recently, I was the sustainability coordinator and LEED AP for an education facility in Northern Michigan where  we navigated strict government requirements, researched new materials and methods, and recommended efficient systems to the Air Force.
