New main healthcare facilities of the Centré Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM), a US$2.5 billion super-hospital, an international P3 project headed by Construction Santé Montréal, a consortium composed of UK construction firm Laing O’Rourke, Spanish construction firm Obrascon, Juarte Lain S.A. (OHL), UK investment managers Innisfree and French energy provider Dalkia Canada. The new hospital is a key part of the CHUM’s modernisation program aimed at consolidating the activities in the newly developed central location in Montréal. The project consists of 5 buildings: D patient bed towers building (28 storeys), B1 and B2 ambulatory buildings, B3 office tower (18 storeys) and A’ support logistics building.
