About 

Andrew Lucia is a designer, artist and academic working predominantly in the domain of architecture.

Lucia recently held the position of Cass Gilbert Visiting Assistant Professor (2015-2017) in the School of Architecture, College of Design, University of Minnesota, during which he realized the extensive research project A Catalog of Difference. Prior, Lucia was a visiting lecturer and critic at Cornell University, AAP (2011-2015), facutly in Visual Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Design (2008-2011), and was a founding member and Senior Researcher within LabStudio (now the Sabin Design Lab, Cornell) from 2008-2015.

Lucia's solo and collaborative works and writings have been published and exhibited internationally in The Cornell Journal of Architecture, World Architecture, Leonardo Music Journal, Science, American Journal of Pathology, the New York Times, Wired Magazine, Proceedings of the 15th International Conference on Information Visualisation, ACSA & CENTER; Ars Electronica & FRAC.

Lucia received his Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania (2008) and his B.A. in Architecture from the University of Minnesota (2001). Andrew has 10+ years of architecture experience, initially practicing residential architecture as a designer and project manager in the offices of Yunker+Asmus Architects and M+A Architecture. He has since worked on several prominent projects as a designer in the offices of su11 architecture+design, Ruy Klein, and Barkow Leibinger Architects, as well as project team member for Keller Easterling Architect.
