Lawrence Group, Saint Louis, MO, US, Intern Architect
I have six months of work experience in 2015 with Lawrence Group in St. Louis, contributing to Senior Living and Multi-Family Housing projects. My primary focus was on a five-story Assisted Living facility project, on which I was the only employee building the Revit model for several months. I collaborated with Principal Dan Rosenthal and executed the client’s requests from Schematic Design through Design Development. Although I was an intern, this position was full-time. I independently maintained contact, coordinated, and organized project development with the engineering, interior design, waste collection, and elevator services.
Furthermore, I worked on several Multi-Family residential tasks, including projects in Texas, North Carolina, and Missouri. My participation in those projects ranged from Schematic Design presentation drawings, to Design Development changes, and finally Construction Document production. I skillfully used many software tools, like Revit, Adobe Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator/Acrobat, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
Finally, I gained exposure to Construction Administration with three punch list trips to Illinois and Kansas.
